Honest budget websites that still do the job properly
Affordable web design in Albury does not have to mean a flimsy template or a site you can never change. I build small, sensible WordPress websites for Border businesses on a tight budget, starting with a single page site for $880 including GST.
Spend what makes sense for where your business is right now
Plenty of businesses around Albury Wodonga start small. A mobile mechanic working out of Lavington, a dog groomer in Wodonga, a bookkeeper running things from a spare room in Thurgoona. None of them need a forty page website with a blog nobody updates. They need somebody searching on Google to land on a clean page, see what they do and pick up the phone.
That is what my budget websites are for. I keep the build small and focused, then spend the time on the parts that actually bring in work. Clear wording, a fast mobile layout, a contact form that goes straight to your inbox and a Google Map so people can see roughly where you are.
Every site is still hand built by me in WordPress and Elementor. Nothing gets handed off to a cheap overseas team and nothing is pulled from a generic template pack. You get the same care as a larger job, just with fewer pages.
All prices include GST
I would rather you see the numbers before you ring than have to ask. Domain and hosting are extra and I can set both up for you. Every package below includes a free first year of WordPress maintenance.

And the things I will not cut to hit a price
Being honest about this matters. An $880 single page website is one page. Your services, a little about you, your service area and a way to get in touch all sit in sections down that page. That works well for a business with one or two core services, but it gives Google less to work with than a site with a separate page for each service and suburb.
You also give up some of the extras. There is no online shop, no booking calendar and no long run of service pages. If you later want to rank for lots of different jobs across Albury, Wodonga and the smaller towns, a Complete Website or ongoing local SEO is usually the next step.
What I will not cut is the stuff that quietly decides if a site earns its keep. Here is what every budget site still gets.
Things I hear about from Border businesses all the time
A very low price usually has a catch somewhere. These are the ones worth checking before you sign anything.
Some builders keep the domain or the site in their name. If you leave, the website stays with them and you start again from nothing.
A small weekly fee looks harmless until you add it up over three years and realise you have paid for a site several times over.
Sites made on closed platforms can be hard to move. WordPress lets you take your website to any developer or host.
Cheap offshore builds often come back with American spelling, stock wording and no idea where Wodonga or Corowa are.
The same layout shows up on hundreds of other sites, with placeholder text that sometimes never gets replaced.
The site goes live and then emails stop getting answered. Small fixes become a hunt for someone new.
A budget site can be the first step rather than the last
A lot of my clients come from running everything off a Facebook page. A single page site is a good way to get a proper home on Google without a big outlay. If you are in that spot, my Facebook to website page explains how that move works.
Because the site is built in WordPress, it can grow with you. When the business picks up I can add service pages, a gallery or a quote form without rebuilding from scratch. You only pay for the extra work and you keep everything that already works.
If you are not sure which package fits, send me a quick email at [email protected] with what you do and where you work. I will tell you honestly if the cheaper option is enough.

A cheap but properly built website in Albury starts at $880 including GST with Website Design Albury, for a single page WordPress site. That covers mobile friendly design, a contact form, a Google Map, Google Analytics and a free first year of maintenance. Domain and hosting are extra. A multi page Complete Website is $2200.
Website Design Albury builds affordable WordPress websites for small businesses in Albury Wodonga, run by Nick Fritzkowski who has been building websites since 1995. Nick does all the work himself rather than outsourcing overseas. Prices start at $880 for a single page site and are listed openly on the web design page.
An $880 single page website is enough for many Wodonga small businesses that offer one or two main services and mostly need people to call. It gives you a professional page on Google with your services, service area and contact details. Businesses with lots of services usually get more from a multi page site.
A budget website from Website Design Albury can be upgraded later because it is built in WordPress rather than a closed platform. Nick can add service pages, galleries, quote forms or even a shop without starting again. You only pay for the new work and the existing design carries over.
Every website Nick builds for Border businesses belongs to the business owner, including the domain registered in your name. You get full login access to WordPress and Elementor. That means you can edit it yourself or move it to another developer at any time without asking permission.
Cheap overseas websites often cost Albury businesses more in the long run because of generic wording, slow loading and patchy support after launch. They also rarely understand how people search across Albury and Wodonga. Nick builds every site himself in Australia and stays reachable by phone and email afterwards.
An affordable website in Albury from Website Design Albury does not include the domain name or hosting, which are billed separately. The single page option also leaves out separate service pages, online shops and booking systems. Ongoing SEO and Google Ads are separate monthly services if you want them.
Tell me what your business does and which parts of Albury Wodonga you cover. I will come back with an honest recommendation and a fixed price.
