Every trade and service gets found a little differently on the Border
A plumber, a winery and an accountant all need a website, but their customers search in completely different ways. This is where I build websites for Albury businesses by industry, with the pages, words and Google setup each one actually needs.
The way someone searches tells you what the website has to do
Think about the last time you needed help from a business. If the hot water system died, you grabbed your phone and searched for a plumber nearby, then rang the first one that looked trustworthy. If you were choosing a builder for a new home, you probably spent weeks looking at photos, comparing styles and asking friends. Those are two very different journeys and a website has to suit the one your customers are on.
That’s why I don’t build a generic site and swap the logo. For an urgent trade the phone number needs to sit at the top of every page and the site has to load fast on a patchy mobile signal. For a cellar door the photos, the booking button and the opening hours do the heavy lifting. For a professional practice it’s about trust, clear services and an easy way to book a first chat.
On top of that, Albury Wodonga has its own twist. The Murray splits the region into two states, so plenty of businesses serve customers in both NSW and Victoria. Google treats Albury and Wodonga as separate places, which means a site often needs content that speaks to both sides of the river to show up in both sets of searches.
Most businesses fall into one of these patterns
Once I know which pattern fits your customers, the structure of the site almost designs itself.
Burst pipes, power outages, broken down utes. People want a phone number and a nearby name within seconds. Speed, click to call and a strong Google Business Profile matter most.
New homes, landscaping, solar systems. Customers read, look at photos of real jobs and come back several times before they enquire. Project galleries and clear service pages win here.
Wineries, cafes, farm stays and tourism. Visitors search from Melbourne, Sydney or their phone in the car. Opening hours, maps, bookings and good photos close the deal.
Accountants, allied health and NDIS providers. People want to know who they’ll be dealing with, what it costs and how to book. Trust and clarity come first.
Each page explains how your customers search and what your website needs
Pick the one closest to your business. If you don’t see yours, the same thinking still applies and I’m happy to talk it through.

The foundations stay the same even when the content changes
No matter which industry you’re in, every site I build is hand made in WordPress and Elementor, written for your business and set up so Google can understand it. You get full access to edit it yourself and the first year of maintenance is included.
Prices are the same for every industry. A Complete Website is $2200 including GST, a single page site is $880 and anything with a shop or bookings starts at $3300. If you want ongoing help getting found, local SEO plans start at $279 a month.
Answers for businesses across Albury Wodonga

Different industries in Albury do need different websites, because customers search for a plumber very differently from a winery or an accountant. An urgent trade needs click to call and speed, while a builder needs project photos and a cellar door needs bookings. I plan the page structure around how your customers actually look for you.
Website Design Albury builds industry specific websites for small businesses across Albury Wodonga, run by Nick Fritzkowski who has been building websites since 1995. Nick writes the pages around how each trade or service gets searched on the Border and does all the work himself in WordPress and Elementor.
A Wodonga business that also serves Albury usually benefits from content that mentions both cities, because Google treats them as separate places. That might be a service area page, a few local examples or a line in each service page. I work out the right amount so it reads naturally and doesn’t feel stuffed.
An industry website in Albury costs the same as any other site I build, which is $880 for a single page, $2200 for a complete multi page website and from $3300 for shops or bookings. All prices include GST and the first year of WordPress maintenance. Domain and hosting are extra.
A business whose industry isn’t listed here can still get a website planned around how its customers search, because the listed pages are just the most common ones I see. Send me a message or ring 0413 651 740 and I’ll talk through how people find your type of business.
SEO for a trade on the Border can often start without a new website, as long as the existing site is reasonably fast and editable. I’ll look at it first and tell you honestly if it’s worth working on. SEO plans start at $279 a month with no lock in contract.
