Privacy Policy

The Website Design Albury privacy policy in plain English

This is the Website Design Albury privacy policy. It explains what personal information I collect through this website, why I collect it and how I look after it.

Who This Policy Covers

A sole trader web designer in NSW

Website Design Albury is run by Nick Fritzkowski as a sole trader, listed as Albury NSW 2640. In this policy I, me and my refer to Nick and the business.

I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988. Small businesses are not always required to follow every principle, but I choose to because it is the right way to treat the people who contact me.

What I Collect

Only what I need to reply and do the work

When you fill in the enquiry form, email me or call, I may collect the following details.

How I Use Your Information

To answer you and deliver the job

I use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, build and look after your website, send invoices and keep records the law requires. I may contact you about work you have asked for or a plan you are on.

I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. I do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one.

Some trusted services help me run the business, such as email hosting, website hosting, form handling and accounting software. Your details may be stored with those providers, some of which keep data outside Australia. I only use reputable providers and only share what is needed.

Analytics and Cookies

How this website measures visits

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how people find and use it, such as which pages are popular and which searches bring visitors in. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are small files stored by your browser. The information is grouped and does not tell me who you are.

Other cookies may be set by embedded services like Google Maps. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time and the site will still work. Google explains how it uses data at policies.google.com.

Keeping Information Safe

Sensible care with everything you send

I take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. That includes secure passwords, two step logins where available, up to date software and encrypted connections on this website.

Client logins are stored securely and only used for the work you have asked me to do. When information is no longer needed I delete it, unless I have to keep it for tax or legal reasons.

Access, Corrections and Complaints

Ask me anything about your details

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you or ask me to correct it. Email [email protected] or call 0413 651 740 and I will respond within a reasonable time.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please contact me first so I can put it right. If that does not resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

I may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
