Web design Albury Wodonga, both sides of the river and well beyond
I build websites and run local SEO for small businesses right across Albury Wodonga, the Riverina and North East Victoria. Pick your town or suburb below to see how I’d approach a site for a business there.
Why the border matters when you're building a website
Albury sits on the NSW bank of the Murray and Wodonga sits on the Victorian bank. To the people who live here it’s one place, the Border, with one shared set of shops, schools, hospitals and footy rivalries. To Google it can look like two separate cities in two separate states.
That gap is where a lot of local businesses lose work. A plumber in Lavington might show up nicely for Albury searches and be invisible to someone in West Wodonga who’s only ten minutes away. A cafe in Wodonga might never appear for a visitor staying near Dean Street. Good web design Albury Wodonga style means planning for both halves from day one.
So every site I build for the region is set up with both cities in mind. That covers the wording on your pages, your Google Business Profile service areas plus pages for the suburbs and towns you actually work in.
Phone, email and video call, wherever you happen to be
I work with clients by phone, email and video call. That suits busy people. A builder can talk through a new site from the ute at lunchtime. A winery owner in Rutherglen doesn’t need to drive anywhere to sign off on a design.
Every site is hand built by me in WordPress and Elementor. I don’t outsource overseas. I’ve been building websites since 1995, so I’ve seen plenty of small business sites that look fine but never bring in a phone call. My focus is on the boring things that make a site work, like fast loading on a phone, clear contact details and pages written around what people in your area type into Google.

The same care, with different local details
A website for a Thurgoona physio and a website for a Tumbarumba accommodation business need quite different things. These are the parts I adjust for each place.
People in some towns search by town name, others just type “near me”. I look at how your customers phrase things before writing a word.
A tradie in Springdale Heights might cover Jindera and Wodonga too. Your site and Google profile should say so clearly.
Tourism towns like Bright and Jindabyne get a lot of searches from people planning a trip from Melbourne or Sydney.
Licences, rebates and rules can differ between NSW and Victoria, so service pages sometimes need to cover both.
Ranking in Wodonga or Wagga Wagga takes more work than ranking in a small village. I’m upfront about that when quoting.
Sites start at $880 for a single page. See affordable web design for what each option includes.
Albury, Wodonga and the wider region

Website Design Albury is run by Nick Fritzkowski, who builds WordPress websites and does local SEO for small businesses across Albury Wodonga. Nick does all the work himself by phone, email and video call. He has been building websites since 1995. Prices start at $880 for a single page site.
A single website can rank in both Albury and Wodonga searches if it is planned that way from the start. That means mentioning both cities naturally, setting your Google Business Profile service area to cover both sides of the river and having pages for the places you work. The local SEO page explains how.
Website Design Albury works with businesses well outside Albury, including Wagga Wagga, Corowa, Wangaratta, Beechworth, Bright and the towns in between. Because Nick works by phone, email and video call, distance makes no difference to the process or the price.
A separate page for each main suburb or town you service often helps, as long as each page is genuinely useful and not a copy with the name swapped. For most small businesses a handful of well written area pages is plenty. Nick can advise on which places are worth a page when quoting.
A small business website in Albury Wodonga from Website Design Albury costs $880 for a single page, $2200 for a complete multi page site or from $3300 for a shop or booking site. All prices include GST and a free first year of WordPress maintenance. Domain and hosting are extra.
Being in Victoria makes no difference when working with Website Design Albury, because the Border works as one region and Nick works with every client by phone, email and video call. Plenty of Wodonga and North East Victoria businesses need to reach NSW customers too, which is something Nick plans for on every site.
If your town isn’t listed on the areas page, Website Design Albury can still help, since the list only covers the most common places. Nick works with small businesses anywhere in the region and beyond. Send a message through the contact page with a few details about your business.
Send me a few lines about your business and the towns you want to reach. I’ll come back with honest advice and a clear price, usually the same day.
